Until we became involved with IEA, we didn’t fully appreciate why children who are gifted might need special focus and support. Our experience with IEA has been truly eye-opening. Traditional educational programs often take for granted that gifted children will do “fine.” In reality, many struggle with social and emotional developmental challenges and learning differences that are obscured by their academic achievements. We are grateful for IEA’s support of our child, and we give to IEA so that their valuable programs can reach and support more children.
Thank you to everyone who taught such enriching courses. Our children have benefited tremendously from IEA programs by meeting like-minded peers and intellectuals. Taking the time to validate their individual thoughts encourages them to be active participants in future generations and it is forward-thinking of the staff to learn from learners. What a positive community you are all building!
I chose to donate because the mission of IEA is vital to the wellbeing of so many kids that often fall through the cracks. I want to be a part, if even in a small way, in helping other children grab onto their uniqueness and supporting them in their exploration of their full potential.

“Without this program, I would not have been able to work in a lab as a high school student. I would not be the person I am today without IEA, its innovative programs and its supportive staff. “

“When people ask me why I serve as Chairman of the Board at IEA, my reason is clear: IEA focuses on the journey of the whole child, supporting the backstory behind every picture. Gifted children are much more than their achievements.”
