The Lyle School of Engineering at Southern Methodist University offers summer camp programs for students in 6th through 12th grades. These summer camps are authentically Lyle, as the facilities, staff, and curriculum are all unique to the Lyle School of Engineering. Camps provide a creative environment for students to learn the fundamentals of engineering through hands-on, interactive team projects.
Lynne Azpeitia is a licensed Marriage and Family therapist who works with gifted adults by encouraging, supporting and guiding them to achieve their goals and realize their dreams. Lynne provides coaching, counseling, psychotherapy and consultation services specially designed for gifted people.
The Maryville Science and Robotics Program offers premier, cutting-edge courses for students ages 4-16 with highly qualified faculty, including professors, engineers, computer programmers, and gifted certified teachers. They offer small class sizes that are highly differentiated to meet individual student needs. Class sizes are limited to 12-16 students with an overall faculty/staff to participant ratio of 1:6. Each classroom contains an expert faculty member and a university student assistant teacher.
The Maryville Young Scholars Program offers a model to increase diversity in gifted programs. The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has agreed to a four-year pilot supporting an alternative pathway for gifted identification. This will formally qualify as gifted many of the high ability children in the Maryville Young Scholars Program. Young Scholars have access to extensive summer and after-school enrichment programming.
Master-It! is a week-long, residential summer program held every year in June. Twenty young women spend a week on the Emporia State University campus to enjoy some science, mathematics and fun such as field trips and social events.
Math Academy is a Pasadena Unified School District program aimed at radically accelerating the learning curve of its mathematically gifted students by providing a curriculum that matches their abilities. The goal of Math Academy is to prepare these students to excel in the honors math and science programs at the most elite universities in the world.

Redbird solutions share the same vision of accelerating learning through personalized instruction, and both draw from pioneering research in adaptive learning technology. Originally developed at Stanford University, together they provide a common set of user experiences and reporting that can help elevate students in both Mathematics and English Language Arts.
Megan Bearce, LMFT specializes in counseling the gifted, especially gifted girls, through issues such as asynchronous development, downplaying talents, and managing stress. She also facilitates Supporting the Emotional Needs of the Gifted (SENG) parent groups and support groups for other issues.
The Mensa Foundation has a strong commitment to supporting educational outreach and social stimulation for gifted young people everywhere. Specifically, the Foundation provides funding for the AG youth program (activities for students in preschool through college), ‘Bright’ monthly newsletter, Excellence in Reading program, scholarships, resources, and more.
Dr. Steven Mercer is a college counselor who works one-on-one with students and their families through the college application process, helping each student make the best of their high school experience, apply to colleges that fit them as individuals, and transition successfully to college life. Dr. Mercer is based in Santa Monica, CA.
The Summer Scholars Program provides a rich, early college experience for academically-talented rising high school juniors and seniors from across the globe. Students will join an engaged community of learners for an intense, two-week program.
Each summer, SYP offers more than 50 camps/explorations that allow participants to discover and learn about various fields through hands-on laboratory, classroom, and field experiences. There are both middle and high school programs and are held at Michigan Technological University.
The goal of The Saturday Course at Milton Academy is to provide a rich learning environment for children in grades 4-8 with strong academic skills. Taught by dynamic, experienced teachers, areas of study include: Math, Literature, Sciences, Social Sciences, Photography, Computer Technology, Art, and Theater. The small student to teacher ratio encourages opportunities for hands-on activities, lab experiments, small group discussion, and individual projects.
Minority Introduction to Engineering and Science (MITES) is a rigorous six-week residential academic enrichment program for rising high school seniors—many of whom come from underrepresented or underserved communities—who have a strong academic record and are interested in studying and exploring careers in science and engineering. MITES is free for all admitted students.
