John Muir High School Early College Magnet aspires to excellence as a student-centered, comprehensive high school that is well known for its long-standing history of academic excellence, extra-curricular activities and community involvement. The school also offers college courses through Pasadena City College, Advanced Placement, honors, support courses in language arts and mathematics, special needs offerings.

CTY’s gifted and talented Online Programs give academically advanced students the freedom to access more than 170 online courses, expert instructors, and engaging curriculum wherever they are. Gifted online courses range from elementary to college-level and include such courses as math, AP science, Chinese, grammar, critical reading, computer science, and writing. Courses are offered in session-based, individually paced, or flexi-paced formats for added convenience. Financial aid is available.

Jump Start is an early college enrollment opportunity allowing high school students the opportunity to take college classes at Glendale Community College, while still enrolled in high school.

Khan Lab School is a non-profit, independent, co-educational school which currently serves students ages 5 – 14 in Mountain View, CA. In keeping with Sal Khan’s “One World Schoolhouse” philosophy, the school is an extended-year, extended-day, mixed-age program with a collaborative, project-based learning approach. KLS is a no homework, no grade levels, and no grades learning environment, and the school is mastery-based.

The Knox School of Santa Barbara is private school serving K through 8th grade and specifically designed for the gifted learner. Their mission is to provide a stimulating and nurturing environment where, alongside an engaging and challenging curriculum, the social and emotional needs of gifted and talented students are respected and compassionately supported.

Kunsmiller Creative Arts Academy is a K-12 arts integrated public school serving students in southwest Denver. KCAA prepares students for careers in the creative industries while providing a rigorous college preparatory education.

La Jolla Country Day School is an independent school located in San Diego, CA. The school contains a lower school (consisting of nursery through fourth grade, a middle school (grades 5-8), and an upper school (grades 9-12).

Founded in 1888, Latin School is the oldest independent day school in Chicago, which today serves students from over 75 neighborhoods and 18 suburbs in the Chicago area. LAUNCH is a professional education program for high school students in the Elmbrook School District of Wisconsin. Students fast forward into their future and are fully immersed in a professional culture, solving real world problems, using industry standard tools and are mentored by actual employers, all while receiving high school and college credit. Students can choose from three strands: Global Business, Future Teachers, and Business Analytics. Lee Academy offers a unique experience for advanced, motivated learners Pre-K through 12th grade. Set in 3 1/2 acres of lakefront property, Lee Academy offers a flexible program that encourages reflective and creative thinking, problem solving, critical evaluation, and opportunity to pursue special interests. The curriculum is tailored to meet the intellectual needs and learning styles of advanced and gifted students. Lee Virtual Instruction Program is the only Kindergarten through 12th grade public online public school in Lee County. Lee Virtual School is a public school serving grades K-12. LVS challenges students and families to expand learning beyond traditional boundaries.

The Long Island School for the Gifted (LISG), located in South Huntington, New York, is a school for pre-k through 12th grade, in a nurturing environment where they will be both intellectually challenged and comfortable socially, thereby providing these children with the opportunity to grow and develop their potential.

The Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies (LACES) is a public magnet school (the first in LAUSD) for students in 6th-12th grade. LACES reflects the diversity of Los Angeles with its students coming from many socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds. They provide a challenging curriculum in a humanistic school environment offering close and personal involvement among teachers, students and parents. Students have an opportunity to pursue academic excellence leading to productive lives in a changing world.
