Spring Blooms Scavenger Hunt

March 30, 2020

By Rachel Hanks, Communications Assistant

Here in Los Angeles, it’s been raining quite a bit this month. With the dreary weather on top of spending a lot of time inside recently, I almost completely forgot that as of March 19, it’s now officially spring! One of my favorite things about this season is seeing all the beautiful flowers and plants blooming throughout the neighborhoods. Lately I’ve loved going on walks to get out of the house and get some exercise. This inspired me to create a scavenger hunt for spring blooms that you might see if you live in Southern California!

If you enjoy this activity, follow IEA on Instagram to check out a similar nature scavenger hunt that our program coordinator Nicole created. Print out the official spring blooms scavenger hunt below to keep track of your flower sightings and points! And let us know in the comments or on social media how many points you get!

A Message to our community

We are deeply heartbroken by the devastating fires impacting so many friends, families, and staff in Southern California. The health and safety of our community remain our top priority.

While our offices are outside of the evacuation zone, staff will be working remotely through Wednesday, January 15 as we continue to monitor the situation. We are staying in touch with staff and families affected by these fires.

We sincerely appreciate your support during this challenging time. If you need to reach us, please email us at IEAGifted@educationaladvancement.org.

Thank you for your understanding and care. We’ll provide additional updates soon.
