Your child’s Academy enrollment begins with the submission of IEA’s portfolio-style application. The New Student Academy application has three parts which must be approved by an Academy team member before your child may register for a class.
They include:
- Part I (General and Student Contact info)
- Part II (Medical)
- Part III (Enrollment)
Applicants do not have to be formally identified as gifted to take Academy classes. Submission of assessment scores and transcripts are optional, however, we encourage families to include as much information in the application as possible to help us determine the best match for your child. Please note that families must submit a New Student Academy application though their child may be enrolled in or applying to another IEA program. Returning Academy Students must submit an application each session, however, you will only need to update information that has changed since your child last joined us.
