Yunasa & Yunasa West:
Created Specifically for Gifted Youth

Designed and led by eminent experts in the field of gifted youth, Yunasa embraces gifted children for who they are, helping them understand and work with the unique joys and challenges that gifted children face. Many traditional programs for gifted youth focus solely on intellectual abilities, overlooking the need for these children to grow in all aspects of their lives. Yunasa supports the whole gifted child, encouraging growth and support of campers intellectually, socially, emotionally, spiritually, and physically.

 

2020 Yunasa Program Updates 

After much deliberation, and given the progression of COVID-19, the Institute for Educational Advancement has made the difficult decision to cancel the Summer 2020 Yunasa program. However, we are preparing to offer shortened virtual online camps.

VIRTUAL Yunasa West: June 8 – 12, 2020
Tentative Schedule: Three half days on Monday, June 8; Wednesday, June 10; and Friday, June 12, with an approximate 90-minute facilitated project time on Tuesday, June 9 and Thursday, June 11. 

VIRTUAL Yunasa Michigan: July 27-31, 2020 
Tentative Schedule: Five half days from Monday, July 27 to Friday, July 31.

Tuition

Tuition includes housing, food, activity fees, and supplies for the duration of camp. Travel to and from Yunasa is not included in tuition, and additional fees for unaccompanied minor and airport pickups may apply.

Virtual Yunasa Tuition:
$200

Financial aid is available for families in need. For more information, please email the Program Coordinator, and indicate “Yunasa Scholarship Inquiry” in the subject line.

Informational Camp Webinars

We will be hosting a free webinar to offer more information to prospective campers. IEA personnel will share some tips on applying and take user questions. This presentation will also be available for viewing following the webinar on our YouTube page.
