Volunteers are an integral part of IEA. We rely on our volunteers to help support a variety of services for our community. Whether you’re working with students, engaging with guests at events, or performing administrative tasks, our volunteers help our programs thrive!

Join IEA’s mission to ensure that each gifted child’s specific needs are met so that they can reach their full potential.

  • Youth Engagement – Assist students at our Learning Center, support or facilitate workshops, or design curriculum.
  • Administrative – Help our students by supporting those who keep our organization running.
  • Events – Engage with our guests during events or share our programs and services with the greater community.
  • Research – Help keep our programs informed and updated on key contacts, resources, and policies.
  • Communication – Contribute in writing grants, share your thoughts on IEA’s blog, or translate marketing materials.
  • Serve as a positive role model for advanced and gifted youth in Kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Apply and share your talents, skills, and knowledge with your community.
  • Strengthen your skills from communication to research.
  • Learn more about the field of gifted education.
  • Connect with a community of like-minded people.
  • Individuals of all ages are encouraged to inquire or apply about opportunities.
  • Complete a volunteer application and background check (if necessary).
  • Commit to a consistent shift or specific event date that fits with your schedule.
