SPRING 2026
Tuition Assistance Application Deadline: Wednesday, January 7, 2026
IEA Academy offers need-based tuition assistance. Families who would like to apply for tuition assistance must submit a request form before each session (spring, summer, fall) in which they are enrolled. To make decisions in a fair and equitable manner, IEA Academy requires that new and returning families submit their tuition assistance request forms by the tuition assistance application deadline noted above.
Please submit your Academy Enrollment Application first. Once you have received your child’s enrollment confirmation email you can proceed with submitting your Tuition Assistance Request Form.
The following documentation will be needed when submitting the Tuition Assistance Request Form:
Since our tuition assistance is need-based, we offer assistance on a sliding scale. If you feel that the full tuition payment is not financially viable, to any extent, we encourage you to apply so that we can provide the appropriate financial support. Our goal is for families to pay what is realistic for them. We also know that income does not always show the full picture of a family’s ability to pay. The required letter provides space to elaborate on the reasons assistance is necessary.
No, we want to be able to offer families as much as we can based on what families need. Since the number of applicants and the amount requested changes each session, we don’t want to lock families into income brackets.
Yes. You need to reapply before the session (spring, summer, fall) if you wish to receive tuition assistance again. If you do not reapply, we will assume do not wish to receive tuition assistance for the upcoming session.
Yes. The three application materials (request form, letter of circumstance, and tax return) all need to be submitted each time, even if your family is applying again and the information is the same. We do not keep documents like tax returns on file, which is why we require families to resubmit each time.
Yes, however, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to offer tuition assistance if it is submitted after the deadline. Unfortunately, we have a finite amount of assistance we can provide each session and we do our best to distribute it equitably once the applications are submitted by the deadline. If we receive an application after the deadline, we may not have the extra means to provide more support beyond what we have already allocated.
Please submit one request form per child.
An enrollment deposit of $75 per course will be due upon receipt of your deposit invoice, which you can expect to receive via email (to the primary contact indicated on your application).
Enrollment deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable should your child withdraw their enrollment prior to or after the first class meeting. If you have applied for tuition assistance you will not receive a deposit invoice until after you receive your award letter (and based on your award amount you may not be asked to pay a deposit).
The remaining tuition balance invoice, less the deposit amount and applied discounts, will be e-mailed after the first week of classes. There are no refunds for withdrawals after the second class meeting.
