The Davidson Institute has compiled information on gifted education policies in each state. They provide information on program availability as well as funding.

Gifted Resource Council’s mission is to bring together the resources of the community, the schools and parents to help bright and talented children achieve their potential. GRC grew into an organization that serves the St. Louis community with three major programs: Academic Challenge Cup (friendly competitions in the areas of math, language skills and creative problem solving), Saturday Learning Labs and Summer Academies.

Duke TIP recognizes academically talented students and provides advanced learning opportunities that foster their intellectual and social growth. At Gifted Today, one can find articles on the practical issues that parents of academically gifted children often face, including how to advocate for the child, weigh different educational options, evaluate best practices, and address common social and emotional needs. The blog houses almost two decades’ worth of articles from TIP’s researchers, whose work appears in leading academic journals, as well as reviews of other important findings in the field of gifted education.

Greater Los Angeles Gifted Children’s Association’s (GLA-GCA) purpose is to provide educators, parents, and the community with professional development, activities and events for meeting the academic and social-emotional needs of gifted and high ability students.

GRO Gifted is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting a comprehensive and accurate understanding of giftedness through research and outreach.  While studies on human intelligence do exist, GRO’s approach is unique in its integrative nature. GRO is committed to studying giftedness from a multidisciplinary perspective to better understand physiological differences in gifted individuals and how these differences impact their lives physically, emotionally, and behaviorally. New research and articles can be accessed online directly on their website.

GT Carpe Diem empowers gifted students’ voices through educating them about how to successfully self-advocate. They offer workshops, a book, consulting with gifted advocate Deb Douglas, and several online resources.

The mission of GT Parent Connection is to provide information, support, and educational opportunities for parents and educators of gifted and talented students in Washoe County, Nevada.

Published by James T. Webb, Elizabeth A. Meckstroth, and Stephanie S. Tolan in 1981, this book has become a classic in the field. For years, parents have referred to it as “the Dr. Spock book for parents of gifted children.” Gifted children have unique social and emotional concerns, and this book provides the guidance that parents need to support them. Each chapter features problems or issues common to gifted children and their families. Topics include communication, discipline, friends, sibling rivalry, and educational needs.

Gwinnett Alliance for Gifted Education (GAGE) is a non-profit organization committed to the support, encouragement and advancement of gifted, accelerated, and advanced content students. The organization is made up of volunteers, mainly teachers, parents, and community leaders, working together to ensure the quality of gifted education.
As a local affiliate of the Georgia Association of Gifted Children, GAGE researches and develops resources that could meet the unique learning needs of gifted students in Gwinnett County, Georgia.

Located in Maryland, Hand In Hand specializes in helping families and schools create unique educational plans for their special learning situation for children who are gifted and/or have special learning needs. They offer private consultations, educational testing, home-school compliance evaluations and more, in addition to offering many online resources and helpful guides.

Harris Buller is an attorney specializing in education advocacy services that include IEPs and 504 plans, college and post-grad disability accommodations and Parent-Teacher and Administrative Conferences.

Founded in the 1990s, the HGA exists to provide valuable resources to the gifted and talented population in the State of Hawaii. Their mission is to enrich the lives of gifted and talented learners, their parents, community and educators.

Heidi Molbak M.S., NCC, CEP is the founder and president of Seed Starter Educational Consulting, an independent educational consulting practice that helps families from around the world find appropriate educational options for their gifted and twice-exceptional children.

Tessa Currivan at Help My Child Thrive Coaching provides coaching for parents of highly sensitive, highly creative, gifted and 2e Children. The site also includes helpful articles to help parents identify their children’s needs in order to best support them. Tessa offers phone and video coaching sessions.

High Ability is a blog and information aggregator for parents, guardians and teachers of high ability children managed by the Ohio Association of Gifted Children (OAGC) for the benefit of high ability students in the State of Ohio.
