We have officially kicked off our summer programming at IEA! We are looking forward to meeting new gifted kids and welcoming back familiar faces. Check out a summary of what is happening in each of our programs below.
Summer Academy will feature 16 new classes, including Numbers Galore!, Debating on a Global Stage, Genes and Genetics and Algebra: Enrichment & Science Applications. We will also be welcoming four new teachers in Session 1 to help young minds blossom.

Caroline D. Bradley Scholarship
The CDB team will spend the summer traveling the country conducting interviews with 2016 CDB Finalists. Scholars will be announced in the fall.
This summer is the inaugural session of EXPLORE! Externs gathered on Saturday for an orientation that included a photo scavenger hunt. The first group of students started their placements yesterday at sites across Los Angeles. We can’t wait to see what this amazing group accomplishes this summer!

Session 2: Monday, June 27- Friday, July 8 (with July 4th off)
Session 3: Monday, July 11-Friday, July 22
Yunsasa West starts this Sunday, meaning IEA staff members are busy gearing up for an awesome week. This year we will be welcoming 44 campers at YMCA’s Camp Shady Brook in Colorado. Campers will participate in activities that are designed to engage them intellectually, socially, emotionally, spiritually and physically. We can’t wait!
