Virtual Learning Lab: Govlearn – Presidential Elections: The Electoral College and More

In November 2020, Election Day will arrive, and American voters will decide who to elect as President of the United States, but how does the process truly work? From the early stages of the campaign to Election Day itself, candidates fight for votes, but how do the structures of the election cycle operate? How does the Electoral College work, and what happens at the party convention? In this IEA Virtual Learning Lab hosted by 2023 Caroline D. Bradley Scholar, and founder and director of GOVLEARN Luke Gialanella, we will explore all of these processes, and predict the results of the 2020 election based on Electoral College votes.
