This article, based on a study of 12 exceptionally gifted students, is a discussion of the educational experiences of these students and the controversies that their parents confronted regarding schooling, specifically regarding: gifted stereotypes, friendships with like-minded peers, and educational resolutions for reading, writing and mathematics.
