Paying with Charter Funds

After you submit your Academy application, you will receive a confirmation email indicating that your child is enrolled in the courses you selected. You can expect to receive this email one to two days after you submit your application. If a course is full or is not the correct age range for your child, an Academy team member will reach out to help advise you about what available courses would be a good fit for your child.

Once you receive your enrollment confirmation email from IEA Academy, you can proceed with the following steps for using charter funds:

  1. Email academy@educationaladvancement.org to request your total tuition amount. This will be an itemized breakdown of your tuition balance, including any applicable discounts and material fees, $75 of which must be paid out of pocket as a deposit.
  2. Submit a purchase order request with your charter. Once approved, they will send IEA Academy a purchase order and we will process it.
  3. Charter families pay a flat deposit fee of $75 total, and IEA Academy will send you a deposit invoice that must be paid when received. If you are using charter funds to cover the full cost of your child’s course(s), please notify us at academy@educationaladvancement.org.
  4. Any questions about the status of your PO should first be directed to your Charter. We do not notify families when we receive funds, but you are always welcome to email us at academy@educationaladvancement.org to see if we have received the PO request or payment for your child’s course(s).

Remaining balance information: IEA will not send remaining balance invoices (if applicable) to families using charter funds until closer to the end of the Academy session. We do this because each Charter has a different disbursement schedule.
