The mission of GT Parent Connection is to provide information, support, and educational opportunities for parents and educators of gifted and talented students in Washoe County, Nevada.

Published by James T. Webb, Elizabeth A. Meckstroth, and Stephanie S. Tolan in 1981, this book has become a classic in the field. For years, parents have referred to it as “the Dr. Spock book for parents of gifted children.” Gifted children have unique social and emotional concerns, and this book provides the guidance that parents need to support them. Each chapter features problems or issues common to gifted children and their families. Topics include communication, discipline, friends, sibling rivalry, and educational needs.

Gwinnett Alliance for Gifted Education (GAGE) is a non-profit organization committed to the support, encouragement and advancement of gifted, accelerated, and advanced content students. The organization is made up of volunteers, mainly teachers, parents, and community leaders, working together to ensure the quality of gifted education.
As a local affiliate of the Georgia Association of Gifted Children, GAGE researches and develops resources that could meet the unique learning needs of gifted students in Gwinnett County, Georgia.

Located in Maryland, Hand In Hand specializes in helping families and schools create unique educational plans for their special learning situation for children who are gifted and/or have special learning needs. They offer private consultations, educational testing, home-school compliance evaluations and more, in addition to offering many online resources and helpful guides.

Working in partnership with families and schools, the Independent School Alliance helps students of color access an independent school education and supports and guides the family after a student is enrolled in a school.
