Satori School is a preschool and primary school designed to meet the special intellectual, emotional, behavioral, and social needs of gifted and inquisitive children, ages 2 1/2 through 1st grade. Satori, Inc. was founded in 1988 to address the needs of under-served children in the Tucson community. Through scholarship and discount programs, Satori School serves a diverse population of gifted and inquisitive children and their families. They provide a challenging, individualized program addressing the needs of the whole child in a community that values creativity, problem solving and respect. Satori’s nurturing atmosphere engages and inspires a child’s natural love of learning.

Scholars Together Always Reaching (STAR) is a secular and inclusive group for the families of highly gifted children. Through classroom settings and the ever-important lunch and recess hour, highly gifted children interact with others who are closer to being both intellectual and social peers than they may find in settings geared solely to their age or academic level. The STAR community is self-selected, meaning that it does not require proof of giftedness. Classes are designed for children aged 5-18 (plus limited preschool activities) who tend to succeed when working 2-3 grade levels ahead and moving through material more quickly than traditional classes.

The mission of the School for the Talented and Gifted is to provide an environment in which the unique worth, dignity, and abilities of each individual are not only recognized but cultivated and celebrated as well. We wish to provide an educational experience that empowers highly capable students to interact with their intellectual peers in academic, creative, aesthetic, and social endeavors in order to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow and to become life-long learners, responsible citizens, and contributors to the betterment of society as a whole in an ever-changing world. Our mission is also to take our students and provide them with the skills and cultivate their talents so they can accepted to the colleges/universities of their choice with the money to go there and to be successful at those institutions of higher learning.

Science & Arts Academy educates gifted children in an academically differentiated and enriched environment while recognizing the unique development of each child. Their supportive community encourages students to embrace their potential and cultivates their academic abilities, creative talents, and emotional growth.

Seabury is the only independent school in the South Puget Sound area with programs specifically designed for intellectually advanced children in Pre-K through 8th grade. Although the instruction at Seabury is individualized and each student is encouraged to grow their individual strengths and talents, students are able to learn together with other intellectually advanced peers. Small class sizes allow their teachers, who have extensive training and experience in education for gifted learners, provide differentiated instruction to develop each child’s individual talents and strengths.

Seattle Country Day School started as a simple idea: a small group of parents were determined to find an educational program attuned to the needs of gifted children. Located in Seattle, Washington, Seattle Country Day School serves gifted students in K-8th grade. They seek to inspire gifted children to reach their potential through inquiry, curiosity, and wonder.

Soundview School is a private school serving Pre-K through 8th grade students from north Seattle and throughout south Snohomish County. Soundview uses the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework for delivering an education that develops international mindedness in their students.

Southeastern Louisiana University offers many opportunities for high school students to earn college credits while they’re still in high school through their early admission program, gifted-talented youth programs, and dual enrollment program.

The Speyer Legacy School is a K-8 independent school in Manhattan with a unique focus on accelerated learners. The pedagogy is designed to meet the needs of learners through an accelerated and enriched curriculum addressing the mind, body and heart of each child. Speyer has developed an interdisciplinary curriculum with an innovative student-to-faculty led approach that inspires, encourages, and ignites a passion for learning and questioning.

Spring Branch Academic Institute provides individualized instruction at the appropriate pace, depth and complexity needed by highly gifted students in a multi-aged setting. By creating a school-within-a-school for this specific population, SBISD is filling a great need for students in Spring Branch ISD.

Spring Hill School is an independent school that was established in 1977 as a school for bright, talented and gifted children who will benefit from an advanced and differentiated curriculum. The original Design Thinking School and the only WASC-accredited K-6 school in Santa Cruz, they are known for their teachers’ expertise, small class sizes, flexible and accelerated curriculum, and individualized education by design. Theyoffer a whole-child curriculum that includes Spanish, music, performing arts, design lab, outdoor sciences, STEAM days, mentorship programs and more.

St. Ann’s School is an independent, non-sectarian day school in Brooklyn Heights, NY offering instruction to intellectually gifted students in preschool through 12th grade. They believe education is a rich, subtle exploration and questioning of the world, not a means to an end.

St. Johns Virtual School (SJVS) offers high quality, online K-12 curriculum taught by local St. Johns County teachers. Students are able to take individual courses while they attend their traditional school or apply to become a Full Time St. Johns Virtual School student. SJVS Full Time students who earn the necessary credits, receive a St. Johns County diploma.

The St. Louis Regional Program for Exceptionally Gifted Students (PEGS) offers curricular acceleration and enrichment opportunities for exceptionally gifted students in grades 1-12. Students qualifying for PEGS are few in number among the general population. This regional public school program was established to assist local school districts in providing for the unique needs of these exceptionally gifted students.

The Stanford Online High School (OHS) is an accredited, diploma-granting independent school serving students in grades 7-12. The OHS brings together academically talented and motivated students from around the world into a vibrant intellectual community with teachers who are passionate about their disciplines, accomplished in their fields, and above all, dedicated to teaching. Students can customize their school experience with a variety of enrollment options: full-time, part-time, or single-course. OHS offers online instruction which includes live, synchronous seminars on a college-style class schedule, encouraging independence, discipline, and strong time-management skills.

Stargate School provides a differentiated program designed specifically to meet the needs of identified intellectually gifted learners in order to challenge each student’s academic abilities, support their unique emotional needs, promote individual character development and encourage a life-long love of learning.
