The Asian Pacific Community Fund (APCF) is excited to partner with local donors to offer scholarship programs annually to financially assist students in their pursuit of higher education. Through a competitive process, scholarship recipients are selected by a review committee based on academic merits, community involvement, leadership skills as well as recommendation from a mentor. Many of our scholarship programs are intended to support low-income youth, and several programs encourage students to study locally at a community college or state university.

The Astronaut Scholarship Foundation (ASF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides annually more than 50 scholarships to the brightest and most talented college students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

The AXA Achievementsm Scholarship provides over $1.4 million in scholarships to young people throughout the nation representing all 50 states, Washington DC and Puerto Rico. Students have the opportunity to receive a $2,500, $10,000 or $25,000 scholarship. In addition, for every student who wins a scholarship, a grant in the amount of $1,000 will be made to the winner’s school.

BEST Robotics is a a middle and high school robotics competition whose mission is to engage and excite students about engineering, science, and technology as well as inspire them to pursue careers in these fields. Through participation in our project-based STEM program, students learn to analyze and solve problems utilizing the Engineering Design Process, which helps them develop technological literacy skills. It is these skills that industry seeks in its workforce.

The Beverly Riggs Camp Scholarship will pay up to $500 for summer camp attendance for an Oklahoma student who is identified as gifted and talented. The camp must be in the gifted areas of creativity, academic or artistic enrichment and/or acceleration.

The BioGENEius Challenges are your opportunity to compete on an international stage with some of the brightest scientific minds in the world. Challenges are offered in the fields of medical biotechnology, agricultural biotechnology, and industrial/environmental biotechnology.

Blacks at Microsoft (BAM) is a company-sponsored employee network dedicated to supporting the continued growth and development of black employees at Microsoft Corporation. This year, BAM will award three $5,000 scholarships to outstanding high-school seniors who are interested in pursuing careers in technology. The scholarships are renewable, so winners who continue to meet the criteria can receive an annual $5,000 award for up to four years. Up to 24 scholarship runners-up will be eligible for a one-time $2,500 BAM technology stipend based on need.

BMI foundation is a nonprofit founded in 1985, who support the creation, performance, and study of music through awards, scholarships, grants, and commissions. Throughout the year, the Foundation works to administer the various competitions for awards, scholarships, internships and commissions.

The Botball® Educational Robotics Program engages middle and high school aged students in a team-oriented robotics competition, and serves as a perfect way to meet today’s new common core standards. By exposing students to an inquiry-based, learn-by-doing activity that appeals to their hearts as well as their minds, Botball® addresses our nation’s need for a well-prepared, creative, yet disciplined workforce with leadership and teamwork experience.

Since 2000, the Brower Youth Award, the flagship event of the New Leaders Initiative program, has recognized outstanding youth leaders who are making strides in the environmental movement. The public ceremony and national award is hosted by the New Leaders Initiative which is housed at Earth Island Institute. Each year, six young people based in North America are awarded the Brower Youth Award and a 3,000 dollar cash prize.

Created in memory of BURGER KING Co-founder James “Jim” W. McLamore, the BURGER KING Scholars program has awarded $35 million in scholarships to more than 33,000 high school students, BK® employees and their families across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico since 2000. Scholarship grants range from $1,000 to $50,000 and are intended to help students offset the cost of attending college or post-secondary vocational/technical school. Recipients are selected based on their grade point average (GPA), work experience, extracurricular activities and community service.

StudentCam is C-SPAN’s annual national video documentary competition that encourages students to think critically about issues that affect our communities and our nation.

The Bryan Cameron Education Foundation awards four-year, full-tuition, merit-based undergraduate scholarships to exceptional high school students who have demonstrated excellence in academics, extracurricular activities, leadership, and community service. The Cameron Impact Scholar is unique among their high-achieving peers in their desire to make an impact on their communities and in the world at large. They aspire to contribute to positive forces for change and plan to tailor their education to that end.

CardRates.com is proud to offer the Financial Futures Scholarship to future and current college students majoring in Business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Management, and others preparing for a career in the personal finance industry. Applicants will be judged based on outstanding academic achievement and submission of an essay. The scholarship award amount is $1,000.

The Caribou Mathematics Competition or Caribou Cup is an international online math contest held six times over the school year, typically over 2 days in October, November, January, February, April, and May. Each contest is run at the 6 contest levels, Grade 2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, and 11/12. Contest questions and solutions are now offered in English, French, Persian, Mandarin, Ukrainian, Azerbaijani, Khmer, and the list keeps growing! All participants receive certificates for participation and achievement, and top-scoring students can earn cash prizes.

The Carson Scholars Fund supports two main initiatives: The Carson Scholars Program and The Ben Carson Reading Project. The scholarship program awards students who have embraced high levels of academic excellence and community service with $1,000 college scholarships. The Ben Carson Reading Project provides funding to schools to build and maintain Ben Carson Reading Rooms – warm, inviting rooms where children can discover the joy of independent leisure reading.
