Sensory Integration: What is it and how does it impact development, behavior, and emotional regulation?

Speaker: Dr. Jamie Chaves, OTD, OTR/L, SWC

Thursday, October 10th • 6:30 p.m.

Processing sensory information pervades our lives and the lives of our children. The way in which a child integrates that information informs his/her development, regulation, and behavioral organization. We will explore the science behind sensory integration, what you as a parent can do to facilitate healthy sensory integration, and how gifted children may be impacted by sensory processing differences.
