IEA’s EXPLORE (Externships Providing Leadership Opportunities for Research and Education) offers a unique opportunity for high-potential secondary students to gain real-world, hands-on experience in a field or subject of interest. Externs develop positive life-changing relationships with Mentors and a diverse cohort of other highly motivated and creative people. Externs perform advanced research, immerse themselves in challenging and intensive learning experience, and develop leadership, interpersonal, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.
