Gwinnett Alliance for Gifted Education (GAGE) is a non-profit organization committed to the support, encouragement and advancement of gifted, accelerated, and advanced content students. The organization is made up of volunteers, mainly teachers, parents, and community leaders, working together to ensure the quality of gifted education.
As a local affiliate of the Georgia Association of Gifted Children, GAGE researches and develops resources that could meet the unique learning needs of gifted students in Gwinnett County, Georgia.

HCSSiM is an intensive six-week encounter with college-level mathematics for talented and highly motivated high school students. Participants spend a major portion of each day actively engaged in doing mathematics. HCSSiM students live in the dorms at Hampshire College in Massachusetts, and study and play in its fields, woods, and academic buildings.

Located in Maryland, Hand In Hand specializes in helping families and schools create unique educational plans for their special learning situation for children who are gifted and/or have special learning needs. They offer private consultations, educational testing, home-school compliance evaluations and more, in addition to offering many online resources and helpful guides.

Harris Buller is an attorney specializing in education advocacy services that include IEPs and 504 plans, college and post-grad disability accommodations and Parent-Teacher and Administrative Conferences.

Tessa Currivan at Help My Child Thrive Coaching provides coaching for parents of highly sensitive, highly creative, gifted and 2e Children. The site also includes helpful articles to help parents identify their children’s needs in order to best support them. Tessa offers phone and video coaching sessions.

The Michigan State University High School Honors Science/Engineering/Mathematics Program (HSHSP) is a seven-week, intensive summer research program designed for motivated students from across the United States who wish to gain more experience conducting research while living on the campus of a major research-intensive university.

As America’s foremost youth leadership organization, HOBY has a long and impressive history of successfully motivating youth and volunteers to outstanding leadership. HOBY programs are conducted annually throughout the United States, serving local and international high school students. HOBY programs provide students selected by their schools to participate in unique leadership training, service-learning, and motivation-building experiences.

Barbara Hettle is an independent college counselor, specializing in homeschool consulting. She assists homeschooled high school students with all aspects of the college application process such as essay coaching, preparing homeschool transcripts, academic planning, and much more. She has first-hand experience with the unique needs of homeschool students going through college admissions and hopes to be able to share her expertise with others.

IDEAL Solutions was developed by the Belin-Blank Center as an efficient and effective way to make sense of above-level test scores. Recommendations are based on more than two decades of experience with administering and interpreting above-level tests to high-ability children.

IEA Academy is a program of the Institute for Educational Advancement which provides students in Kindergarten through 8th grade with advanced learning opportunities that promote exploration and application of knowledge. Classes are taught by content-area specialists and taught at a flexible pace to accommodate the learning needs of gifted and 2e students. Classes are small and grouped by ability rather than chronological age. IEA Academy sessions take place in Pasadena, California, and online, and are held seasonally: fall, spring, and summer (three sessions hosted each summer).

IEA’s EXPLORE (Externships Providing Leadership Opportunities for Research and Education) offers a unique opportunity for high-potential secondary students to gain real-world, hands-on experience in a field or subject of interest. Externs develop positive life-changing relationships with Mentors and a diverse cohort of other highly motivated and creative people. Externs perform advanced research, immerse themselves in challenging and intensive learning experience, and develop leadership, interpersonal, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills.

This guide is a comprehensive library of over 100 programs for gifted students in grades Pre-K to 12. It was created by Institute for Educational Advancement and is drawn from IEA’s Gifted Resource Center to serve as a useful tool for students, parents, counselors, and anyone working with gifted youth.

Programs at the Institute for Mathematics and Computer Science (IMACS) are designed to expand your child’s mind through the development of critical thinking, logic and reasoning skills. IMACS offers after-school, weekend, summer, homeschool, and online courses

The Independent School Alliance for Minority Affairs (The Alliance) is a leading access organization in independent school admissions counseling and placement for students in grades K-9. The Alliance recruits, educates, counsels, and advocates on behalf of families of color seeking to gain access to independent schools of Greater Los Angeles. Working in partnership with families and schools, the Independent School Alliance helps students of color access an independent school education and supports and guides the family after a student is enrolled in a school.

The team at Infinite Therapeutic Services offers evaluations of children for giftedness, which they recommend to families who notice their children are not happy in their learning environment, observe some of the common characteristics, suspect they may have a learning disability, or are looking to apply to a gifted school or program.
