The Avery Coonley School is an independent school located in Downers Grove, Illinois, whose mission is to provide a learning environment that is appropriate for both academically bright and gifted children who are motivated to learn and have demonstrated the potential for the scholastic achievement necessary to succeed in a challenging academic program, in order that they may become positive, productive, and respectful members of society.
The Calais School is a New Jersey special education private school for students in grades K through 12 Plus with multiple learning disabilities as well as anxiety, mood, behavior and autism spectrum disorders. At the Lab School, the focus is to meet the needs of students identified as gifted and talented. Their goal is to provide an appropriate education for those students in one of several ways: acceleration, curriculum compacting, and in-depth study. The New York Lower Lab School is a District 2 Gifted and Talented Public Elementary school for students Kindergarten through Fifth grade. Students must apply for admission under the jurisdiction of the New York City Dept of Education.
